What facts travel with a record?
The product model keeps each evidence dimension independent. A strong source can still be old. A fresh record can still be approximate. A coordinate can still have unknown status.
- Source authority
- Publisher, source URL, jurisdiction, and permitted use remain attached to the claim. Community evidence never becomes official by implication.
- Evidence strength
- Official facts, eligible structured data, corroboration, conflict, and unresolved review remain distinct instead of becoming one confidence score.
- Freshness
- Current, aging, stale, pending, and unknown are separate states. A source outage never advances the last-verified date.
- Position precision
- Point, intersection, corridor, area, approximate, and derived geometry remain visibly different.
- Record status
- Current, inactive, disputed, removed, historical, and unknown remain explicit. Unknown never becomes a positive default.
- Source history
- Material changes retain effective dates and source lineage so a new marker never erases the record behind it.

How precise is a location?
The model preserves the source geometry and precision. It never manufactures an exact device point from an area, corridor, program description, or count. Coordinate equality is not enough to establish shared identity.

What does an empty map mean?
Coverage is incomplete. A missing, filtered, stale, offline, pending, or unavailable result is not proof that no device exists. A source outage does not make a record newer.
